How to own and manage a Social Networking website?

I was wondering if there are any good books on owning and managing a social networking website. I have found it difficult to prepare for the challenges of managing a website. We recently hired a consulting/software development company that has taken care of everything from design and development to analyzing, testing, and hosting. However, I would like to know everything that they know! Is there anything I can study to learn the ins and outs of owning and operating a social networking website?

how does online social networking harms thinking and writing skills of people?
Okay I have a project in school and we have to find three ways how online social networking affect people thinking and writing skills.
Well….you have just answered your own question. When you go on-line and ask everyone else for the answer then you’ve done no thinking on your own. You’re asking everyone else to think for you which can get you into serious trouble if you can’t think and make your own decisions. As for the writing skills…..well you’ll have to come up with that answer on your own or somebody else can provide you with the answer…then you’ve really done absolutely no thinking at all.
